Dr. Smith graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Cell & Molecular Biology and minors in Chemistry & Dance. She obtained her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, she completed her internship at Atlantic Health System and went on to finish her residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Smith is happy to return to her roots in the Pacific Northwest. She is a running enthusiast, finishing several marathons. She has an interest in low and high-risk obstetrics as well as general gynecology. She is considered board eligible by the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Martin graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree and completed her four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. During residency she received awards for resident teaching and knowledge of high risk obstetrics.
Dr. Martin was in private practice in Burien for seven years prior to joining the group in January 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, as well as reading and swimming. Dr. Martin is especially interested in obstetrics, cervical dysplasia, infertility, contraception and management of heavy menstrual cycles. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
