Dr. Channell graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University where she graduated with a degree in Biology and was a presidential scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and membership in Alpha Omega Alpha in 1996.Following graduation she completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Virginia University – Charleston Division and Charleston Area Medical Center. Dr. Channell joined the group in 2000. She resides in Kent, where she spends her free time with her family and enjoys photography. She has an interest in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Channell is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Oxford graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Psychology and a varsity letter in Rowing. She went on to earn her medical degree at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Following graduation, she moved to Chicago and completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Oxford joined the Group in 2007. She lives in Seattle with her husband and young son. In her free time, she enjoys travel, cooking and spending time with her family. Within her practice she has a special interest in high and low risk obstetrics, general gynecology, and gynecologic surgery. Dr. Oxford is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She speaks Spanish fluently.
Dr. Kovacs graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a degree in Neurobiology. She obtained her medical degree from The University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. Following graduation, she completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. During her residency, she received the Curtis J. Lund Award for most meritorious scientific paper. Dr. Kovacs was in private practice in Rochester, NY before relocating to Seattle in 2009. She and her family reside in Renton Highlands. She spends her free time reading, enjoying time with friends, and exploring the area with her husband and three children. She has a special interest in infertility, low and high-risk obstetrics, and adolescent gynecology. Dr. Kovacs is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is conversational in Romanian.
