Dr. Carla P. Kovacs graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a degree in Neurobiology. She obtained her medical degree from The University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. Following graduation, she completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. During her residency, she received the Curtis J. Lund Award for most meritorious scientific paper. Dr. Kovacs was in private practice in Rochester, NY before relocating to Seattle in 2009. She and her family reside in Renton Highlands. She spends her free time reading, enjoying time with friends, and exploring the area with her husband and three children. She has a special interest in infertility, low and high-risk obstetrics, and adolescent gynecology. Dr. Kovacs is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is conversational in Romanian.
